This project is located by the Min River. Drawing inspiration from the local landscapes, the designer has rationally planned the functional layout and circulation of each space. The horizontally extended lines and carefully curated scenes are reminiscent of the scrolls of traditional Chinese landscape paintings. The space unfolds its narrative naturally through alternating openness and enclosure, evoking visitors’ emotions and maximizing the sensory experience while fulfilling practical functions. The extensive use of white fills the space with agility and subtle delicacy, just like the “blank space” in Eastern painting — the interplay of void and ink, perfectly balanced, leaves ample room for viewers’ imagination.
