JOOYU APARTMENT is built to improve the cramped living conditions of urban elites, with two core solutions: a prime location and complete public supporting facilities.
Most youth apartments are only around 30 square meters, making residents feel isolated on a tiny “island”. No matter how complete the functions and storage systems are, they can never meet all daily living needs. The call to “flee first-tier cities” never stops — the superficial cause is the hopelessness of long-term unstable housing, while the essence lies in the lack of sense of belonging and social recognition. Under this premise, apartment design must prioritize human nature over mere functions, and creating public spaces for people to interact with each other is of vital importance.
